Alexian Brothers Women's Races
Pro Women Stage Race & Cat. 3/4

New at this year's Tour of Elk Grove is a Pro Women's 3-day, 3-stage race. Limited to a field of 150 cyclists, it's also on USA Cycling's prestigious National Racing Calendar (NRC).

The Pro Women's event, with races that mirror those of the Men's Pro 3-day, 3-stage, has a total prize purse of $15,000. Stage 1 is a 4.5-mile time trial on Friday afternoon. Stage 2 is a road race on Saturday. And Stage 3 is a circuit race on Sunday.

And returning again on Saturday morning will be the Women's Category 3 / 4 race with a field limited to 75 cyclists.

The Pro Women event is open to only the following: Categories Professional Women Cat. 1/2.

Awards & Prize Money
Winning athletes will be presented with their awards or prize money on race day at the awards distribution tent. Valid USA Cycling license must be presented.


Rules & Eligibility
  • Each race will be a mass start.
  • All USA Cycling rules apply.
  • Non-competitive participants and racers in danger of being lapped will be asked to withdraw.
