Back again in 2010 will be two Community Block Parties -- one on Friday evening, July 30, and a second on Saturday evening, July 31.
Both parties will be held on Ridge and Elk Grove Boulevard -- just west of the Tour of Elk Grove's start/finish line. Each fun-filled community celebration will be held from approximately 7:30-10:30 p.m. and feature lots of food and beverages. Even better? Admission is free!

 Rock Candy (playing Friday)
Playing a mix of dance, hip hop, pop rock and '80s, there is definitely something for everyone with this Chicago-based party band. Featuring lead singer Molly Callinan, who brings both an incredible voice and fin/sexy performance to the stage, Molly is backed by a band filled with talented musicians. Formed in 2003, Chicago's 16 Candles make it their personal duty and pleasure to bring all the great '80s songs you love in life to full force.
